THE OPENING WHISTLE: FIRST STATS

It’s the start of the year, and there are plenty of sports starting all around campus. So, here is what you may have missed in the chaos of the new school year.

Starting off, if you’re a fan of Flag Football then you’re in luck! Our Varsity Flag Football Girls team played against Canyon Springs on the 11th August with an unfortunate loss of 0-6. However, Junior Varsity got its chance for revenge by winning 13-0 against Canyon Springs on the 11th. Norte Vista, losing to Fontana Girls Flag Football on the 12th of August, ended up earning redemption, playing back-to-back winning games against Fontana 12-0 for both Varsity and 38-0 for Junior Varsity. Another sport that began their athletic year is Novi’s Boys Water Polo team, with their first game being on the 12th of August, securing a score of 12-7. Finally to end it off we have Varsity Girls Volleyball receiving a loss 1-3, against San Gorgornino High School on the 15th.
